Create Prospect Address Correction Export File
Creating an Address Correction Export file is the first step of the
Address Correction functionality. Once the file has been exported,
the next step will be to run the address correction batch through Intelligent
Technology, Ltd ® web site. When that process has been completed,
you can run the address correction batch process in CAMS Enterprise.
To create batch file:
- From the CAMS Enterprise
Home page click Admissions
>Prospect >Address Correction. The Prospect
Address Validation page displays.
- Enter information to select the list of prospects.
- Select records that Have
never been validated or Have
changed (updated) since last validation.
- Click Initiate.
The Export Batch File
page displays a list of names meeting the selected criteria.
- Read the Note information to understand how to export
this file and have the addresses verified.
Note: AddressID is the record identifier, it is the field
you enter as the “Retained” field at the name search web site. Batch
file produced is Tab delimited with First row as column names. Text
fields are not delimited by anything (NONE). States in CAMS must
be the standard 2 character state abbreviations.
- Click Create Batch
File. A file is created in the user’s export directory
as defined in User Administration.
- The next step in the process is to run
the batch process through Intelligent Search Technology.
